S/V Denis Sullivan

The S/V Denis Sullivan is a re-creation of a typical 19th century 3-spar Great Lakes schooner. Her triangular sail on the upper foremast—the raffee—is a sail incomparable to Great Lakes schooners of the time. Schooners were the prominent vessels
along the Great Lakes from 1833 to the 1890s and into the 20th century. These vessels also often had one operating theatre two centerboards, and were wider and boxier than seafaring schooners.

Things to Know:

• Bus transportation from Special K Embayment to Sturgeon Bay along the morning of 8/4 is usable for $10.
• Those buying tickets will need to meet at Leicht Memorial Park in downtown Green Bay at 5:30am with the bus going away at 6am.
• Transportation back to Sturgeon Bay after the 8/4 shee is not provided. Ships depart Sturgeon Bay at 8am 8/4.
• Sail duration varies  depending on the send off  from 5-7 hours.
• Those seafaring from Green Bay to Sturgeon Bay 8/8 bequeath need to meet at Leicht Memorial Park at 8:30am with the ships going away at 9am. Transportation backwards to Green Bay after the 8/8 sail is not provided.
• WILL CALL tickets will be available at the main festival logic gate happening the day of the event.  The person who ordered the tickets mustiness present a photo Gem State.
